How We Are Responding to Covid-19

To our friends and family of American Home,

It has been a challenging few weeks for the communities we serve, our nation and the world. The health and safety of both our customers and staff is a top concern and we take seriously the potential spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed to doing our part to prevent it. We continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and WHO and are taking all necessary precautions. For those of you looking for information on novel coronavirus and precautions to take for yourself and your family, here are some helpful links:

We want you to feel safe and comfortable visiting our American Home locations and accepting deliveries of our products. So, here are some precautions we are enacting for both you and our associates:

Showrooms: We have already increased our daily cleaning and disinfecting of all commonly touched surfaces, including door handles, bathrooms, front counters, credit card machines and door handles. We are asking anyone who is in our showrooms to practice social distancing - keeping 6 feet away from any other person - at all times, with only one person at the store counter at time. We are also asking any employee that is sick to stay home. For those of our customers that are self-isolating or do not feel comfortable coming to the store for payments, please call your store to pay over the phone or visit our online payments page. If you need assistance with setting up an account to pay online please contact your store. If you do have to make your payment via cash and don't wish to enter the store, please call the store and we can meet you at the door or at your car. 

Deliveries: We want to keep helping our customers Make Their House a Home. We are taking extra precautions to prevent the unintentional spread of illness, including cleaning all product before it enters a customers house, sanitizing our delivery vehicles and our delivery teams are taking care to practice good hygiene and to stay at home when ill.

Again, the safety and health of our customers and associates is very important to us. All our locations are open to continue to service our customers' needs. We appreciate the trust you have always placed in us and our team over the years in allowing us to serve you the finest quality home furnishings, appliances, and electronics with unsurpassed service with the highest of industry standards.
